Is property investment a good idea for a pension?

I am 42 years old and I have a small pension that I have started to give up on due to the terrible returns I have been receiving.
My property is my only investment that seems to have performed over the years so I have been considering property


Now you can pick up property cheap which over 20 yrs will increase in value.
Done right you can ensure rental income for the full time you own the property.
Do some research, talk to an accountant and learn if being a landlord is a good
